Residential Energy Field Inspector for hire, on contract basis.
Ideal candidates will have experience in HVAC, construction, home inspection, weatherization, energy efficiency/analysis, green building practices and diagnostic testing.
Candidate will possess excellent computer competence and must work well unsupervised, have strong customer service and communication skills, have reliable transportation, and be local to Austin.
Traning/Certifications Required: Home Energy Rating System (HERS) Field Inspector. Familiar with the operation of Blower Door, Duct Blaster and Flow Hood equipment.
Traning/Certifications Preferred: HERS Rater, Comfort Institute HVAC building Science training. Building Performance Institute (BPI) Certified. Mechanical License.
